Reverend Dan Simmons has called Parker County home for 20 years. He serves as Minister at Central Christian Church in Weatherford, where he leads with compassion and a commitment to community. Dan brings his own lived experience of homelessness to Waypoint TX, along with a deep passion for loving his neighbor as himself and helping every person find a path home.

Cathy Zellers grew up in Weatherford and returned home to raise her family and practice law. As a retired family lawyer and longtime advocate for children in the civil legal system, she saw time and again how the loss of stable housing can unravel a family, often leading to separation and lasting harm. Cathy brings an advocate’s voice to Waypoint TX, helping inform the community and build lasting partnerships.

Amy Kramer has called Weatherford home for 25 years and has been a dedicated community leader through her work at OfficeMax and Brilliant Medical Boutique, along with board service at Freedom House, The Senior Center, and the City’s Planning and Zoning Committee. After participating in HUD’s Point-in-Time Count on the coldest night of the year, Amy saw firsthand the hardships of homelessness in Parker County and felt called to serve Waypoint TX.

Celia has attended church in Parker County for 7 years. Celia has more than 10 years experience as an elementary teacher in Mineral Wells. She is passionate about helping individuals find the place they can call home with a community that they can flourish in. 

Hanna Adams grew up in Parker County and for the past seven years, has served as Executive Director of Cornerstone Community Action Agency, leading programs that serve vulnerable populations across the county. Hanna brings valuable experience in community leadership, advocacy, and supportive services.  She is passionate about helping individuals experiencing homelessness find stability, restore hope, and build pathways toward a flourishing life.

Mary Beth was born and raised in Weatherford. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice, and she also serves on the Weatherford College Board of Trustees, helping make higher education accessible to all who seek it. Having seen firsthand how hard many in our community work just to have a place to call home, Mary Beth is proud to serve with Waypoint TX and help create real solutions for neighbors facing life’s challenges.

Tom Kidd has lived in Weatherford for 30 years. He served as Director of Juvenile Probation for more than 30 years, and has been involved with several groups that support teens and their families. Tom brings decades of experience helping young people get back on track, and he is passionate about building services that help young adults move forward and grow with the support of their community.

Ryan has deep roots in Parker County, where he was born and raised and where generations of his extended family still call home. An entrepreneur and real estate professional, he brings more than 15 years of business, negotiation, and relationship-building experience to his work. Ryan’s strong community relationships and real estate expertise help Waypoint TX make thoughtful, prudent decisions and investments that support its mission.
